THE JUNKYARD
I have a few cars that are inoperable because of their condition or would be deemed unroadworthy in real life. I now call this my junkyard.
Tomica Chevrolet Chevy Van - 1977 - 1:78 - Despite its condition, I couldn't pass this up when I saw it at a yard sale when I was about 8. I think it cost a penny or a nickel. I buyed it even though I could see it was so beaten up that the wheels wouldn't roll. So, for my storylines, I just let it sit as an abandoned junker.
Matchbox Mercedes 350SL - 1974 - 1:58 - I don't remember ever getting or having this. Apparently, this car was a convertible. But now the roof and even the windshield are gone. With the condition it's in, who would drive something like this in real life? A weirdo?
